AI infrastructure

AI infrastructure comprises the physical and software systems used to develop, train, deploy and operate artificial intelligence (AI) models and applications. In a narrow sense, the term refers to the physical computing resources that underpin AI, including semiconductors, processors, memory, servers, storage, networking equipment and data centres. Broader descriptions also include the software that makes this hardware usable, such as drivers, compilers, machine-learning frameworks, resource-management systems and cloud platforms.
